Playa Los Suecos (Called Playa Cuevas on the Google Map below) is considered by many to be a “secret beach” because it’s a little harder to find and access than the others in this region of Costa Rica. You need to park your car, and take a small path which resembles more a creek than a path and after a short 5 minute walk you come out onto one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches. It’s a small beach and often a quite beach and many people come here when the tide is right to snorkel. And like most beaches on this coast it has very warm water temperatures (around 28 to 30°C or 82 to 86°F).
