Caminata a Los Patos sin cruzar el río 15 + veces. Sólo cruzar una vez con fácil acceso a la Sirena, Parque Nacional Corcovado, Península de Osa, Costa Rica. Excursión guiada a lo largo de senderos de las cordilleras y zonas montañosas por encima de lado el Parque Nacional Corcovado s Oriental. Siguiendo nuestros senderos a la estación de Los Patos, sólo (45 min. Norte fácil en coche de Puerto Jiménez). Caminar hasta Los Patos, observar a los animales y plantas en su entorno natural. Podrá nadar en ríos, paseos a caballo por las montañas y aprender acerca de las plantas medicinales y excursiones botánicas dirigidos por Ngobe indio – Don Mariano Marquinez Montezuma 8633-1824, 8534-7666.

Ngöbe (Guaymí) are anxious to share their traditions, foods and ancestral ways of living with you and your guests. Overnight stays, 1/2 and full day guided hikes led by indigenous peoples on Costa Rica.
Ngöbe Cultural Center and Private Rainforest Reserve are located in high in the mountains atop Corcovado National Park, where you can find the largest diversity of plants on the American Continent. No kidding, 134 families of understory plants have been studied and distributed into 662 genera and 1319 species, together with more than 295 species of trees, thousands of insects, ( shhh….most of them don’t bite ! ) Hundreds of mammals, exotic birds, monkeys, fish, reptiles and amphibians. Jaguar (Felis onca), Marguay (Felis wiedii), Ocelot (Felis pardalis), scarlet macaw (Ara macao) and the Baird’s tapir (Tapirus bairdii), some of nature’s finest creatures !
The Osa Peninsula is one of the few corners of the Mesoamerican area with a tropical rain forest in the Pacific watershed. In Costa Rica it is protected by the National Park of Corcovado, covering a surface of 54539 hectares of inland area and 2500 hectares of marine area, in the Forest Reserve of the Golfo Dulce, which covers an extension of 60000 hectares and the Guaymí Reserve. This Reserve borders the Corcovado national Park, sharing 16 kms. and the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve along 13 kms.
This is the home of the Ngöbe (Guaymí) tribe. They are a group, among other regional groups, of Chibcha speaking peoples native to this region since Pre-Columbian times. With a visit to the Aguas Rica Lodge near La Palma. Don Mariano is Ngöbe / Guaymí runs a simple hostel with meals and tours to Corcovado National Park.
